Creative Robotics Camp is an immersive, hands-on learning experience that combines arts and crafts, technology, and outdoor play. Campers will spend the majority of each day outside, where they’ll work on a variety of projects big and small. They won’t just be following instructions from a kit or playing with coding toys. Instead, they’ll be tinkering with the basic building blocks of robotics—motors, servos, sensors, and microcontrollers—to imagine and build cool stuff from scratch using real tools.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child get to bring home what they build at camp?
Yes! Also no. Campers will start out each day by building a simple robot (i.e. no electronics) that can be taken home. They’ll also spend the entire week designing and building a more complex robot (the “big project”) using more expensive parts. At the end of camp, you can purchase the final project or parts for around $75 (final cost to be determined).
How much time will my child spend outside?
Our daily schedule is dependent on the weather and subject to change. The only scheduled activity that will be indoors most days is coding, which lasts about an hour.
What does my child need to bring to camp each day?
- Refillable water bottle
- Snack and lunch
- Bug spray and sunscreen (can be applied prior to arriving)
- A towel
- A book to read during breaks (optional but encouraged)
What if camp is canceled?
For every day camp is canceled (due to severe weather, for example), a make-up day will be offered, or you can request a prorated refund.
What is your refund policy?
Customer cancelations two weeks or more before the first day of camp are eligible for a full refund. Customer cancelations between one and two weeks before the first day of camp are eligible for a 50% refund. Customer cancelations less than one week before the start of camp are not eligible for a refund. After camp starts, there are no refunds for days your child does not attend.
